Meet the Cheer® Laundress, Rose Spires. She's on a mission to get rid of the dingies. Discover her secret to cleaning clothes surprisingly bright.
Where did your passion for cleaning clothes originate?
Rose: Oh, I've had it for quite some time now. Growing up with six brothers and sisters, laundry day was my only time to be alone. Something about seeing the dingy clothes come out clean and bright just gave me a sense of order among the chaos.
You mention the word "dingy"... how would you describe that?
Rose: Dingy is the opposite of clean, love. It's dull, grayish, faded, grimy, grubby, mucky, and just dreadfully dirty.
When did you first come across the dingies?
Rose: I spent my early years working with the head laundress at a local estate. She taught me everything she knew, gassing on about the dingies each day. Awfully good she did, or I might not have realized my mission to fight for the bright.
Let's talk about that. Why do you feel responsible for fighting for the bright?
Rose: I spent 20 years defeating the dingies in one home. I took great pride in my work. After the estate shut its doors, I felt empty, love. I knew the dingies were out there, and it was my job to rid the world of the whole lot.
How do you plan to fulfill that mission?
Rose: Well, with a bit of Cheer. I must say, I can't help myself when I come across the dingies. I've been known to rip a dingy shirt right off a bloke's back. I'm determined to defeat the dingieswhether I've been asked to or not.
Have you ever had a negative reaction to your dingy-fighting attempts?
Rose: I suppose I've caught a bloke or two off guard, but they're quite pleased once I bring their britches back with the bright clean of Cheer.
How can others help fulfill your mission?
Rose: Clean clothes bright! It's not a terribly tough chore, love. Just takes a bit of Cheer.
So what do you do when you're not defeating the dingies?
Rose: I fancy you'd find me drinking pints with my mates at the local pub or walking my corgi, Spencer.
No doubt prepared to defeat any dingies you might come across. Any final words of wisdom?
